PipeFix By Sami Najami
Professionals in Producing, installation and maintenance of Top-class Pre-Insulated Pipe Supports.
Insulated pipe supports serve the following purposes: Carry the load and allow necessary movement at each mounting point, provide insulation in the support area where the regular pipe insulation cannot be installed and minimize the cost of field installation by reducing installation time. At PipeFix, we ensure that all of our models adhere to the highest standards of the industry by following results from years worth of research and development.

FAQs
When our cost-effective pipe support is installed on a clevis hanger, for example, the insulation Contractor never touches the pipe hanger and only needs to make a simple butt joint between the pipe insulation and the insulated support. On heavy industrial work, there is no welding (most supports), no pre-heat or post-heat and no x-ray inspection required. All of this will result in maximizing the support spacing and, thus, reduce the number of supports required on the job.
Our Product Catalog is arranged to simplify the selection process. Similar purpose supports are arranged in sections with features, product data, indexes and Installation Guideds/conditions to help you choose the right support for the right purpose. In addition, many of the product data sheets have references to other models having features such as higher load ratings or provisions for thermal expansion or physical restraint.
Old-style sheet metal insulation “protection” shields, when used with today’s low-density fiberglass insulation, often damages the insulation and vapor barrier they are supposed to protect when the shield moves in relation to a clevis hanger, becomes unbalanced, and cuts through both the vapor barrier and the insulation. Insulated pipe support provides the best protection against condensation/sweating problems and enhances the life of the insulation system.
This depends upon the size and model considered. The popular commercial and light industrial supports up through 8” pipe size can generally be installed by one man in half a minute or less. The larger the diameter, heavy industrial supports may require the time of two men for 15 minutes plus a welder to attach the base plate to the support structure. An overview of our Models:
Commercial and lightweight industrial pre-insulated pipe supports
Commonly used on chilled and heated water systems. Available for Heavy-Duty applications and is recommended for use on small-bore pipe sizes. Can be installed on a flat surface or on a band, ring, or Clevis pipe hanger.
Base-mounted pre-insulated sliding supports - Heavy Duty
Intended for use on large, Heavy-Duty Industrial and HVAC systems. These supports offer high accommodation for Mechanical and Thermal Axial/Lateral travel and do not require any welding to the pipe.
Base-mounted pre-insulated guided supports - Heavy Duty
Intended for use on large, Heavy-Duty Industrial and HVAC systems. These supports are equipped with Lateral Guides to prevent Lateral travel and provide high accommodation for Mechanical and Thermal Axial travel only. These models do not require any welding to the pipe.
Welded & Insulated Pipe Anchors
Applicable for Heavy Industrial and large HVAC distribution systems. For larger multi-directional loads and movements. Restrains movement of the piping system. Welding is required in most modules. (Base-Mounted)
Two-Bolt/Double-Rod Pipe Hangers
For larger loads and movements. Supports the pipe from above (with one or two hanging Rods/Bolts). These supports are better used when other values of the piping system are absent due to its high capability to accommodate Thermal or Mechanical loads.
Pre-Insulated Pipe Riser Clamps
Applicable for Heavy loads on Commercial, Industrial and large HVAC systems. Supports the pipe in a vertical “Riser” configuration. Recommended for large, industrial HVAC distribution systems. Requires field welding of factory-supplied thrust plates.
Pipe Clamps, Guided Straps & Guided U-Bolts
Pipe clamping hardware for installation on standard 1-5/8” width framing channel. Can be used as a clamp or guide. Usually installed on Bare pipe and Bare Copper pipe in conjunction with Insulated pipe supports.
